Port's information
Please find below useful information regarding NSY Terminal :
- The restrictions for the piers of NSY you can see as per our below scheme ;
- Port is working 7 days per week 24 hours per day (except normal meal breaks, change of gangs) :
00:00-01:00 - Meal break ;
07:00-08:00 - Changing of gangs ;
12:00-13:00 - Meal break ;
19:00-20:00 - Changing of gangs.
- There are no liner-in costs at our port as all stevedore expenses are always on shipper’s account.
- Loading rate depends on type of the cargo to be loaded, quantity of gangs/cranes, cranes productivity, weather condition, vessel's construction etc.
- Number of gangs depends on port’s congestion, vessel’s construction … etc.
- Productivity of the Terminal is more than 10000 mts per wwd, depends on all above mentioned subjects.
- The Terminal has storage facilities , the cargoes are loaded from the port’s cars.
- In case loading quantity is more than 15000 mts , the vessel must be equipped with suitable ship’s cranes with a lifting capacity corresponding to the unit weight ;
- Cargo quantity is determined by tally calculation – together by port and vessel sides.
- No ice condition in force in Novo ;
- Water density 1.012 ;
- The Port is not tidal ;
- Navigation: 24 hrs ;
- Bunker available in anchorage area and at berth (usually without interruption of working operations) ;
- No freight tax ;
- In accordance with port regulations cargo operations are not allowed while following weather conditions: - wind force exceeds 17 m/s.
- In accordance with port regulations ship's mooring, unmooring & maneuvering inside of port area are not allowed while following weather conditions : - wind force exceeds 17 m/s.
- Novorossiysk port is ISPS certified. Security Level - 1. Tugs assistance and pilotage are imperative in the port of Novorossiysk. Cost of tugs service is independent on number of tugs used and ship construction. Any unexpected technical problems, unforeseen circumstances or repairs to be immediately reported to us in order to pass it to port authorities. If vessel was damaged by shore facilities a damage statement to be issued and acknowledged by stevedores before gang shift will be changed. Any operations concerning painting, welding, draft checking, examinations of the vessel have to be conducted with a permission of the frontier authorities previously requested via ship's agent.
